- Potrebni dijelovi - Cijevi, obujmice i promjene promjera -

Nakon što smo opisali ključne prateće elemente sustava, vrijeme je da se pozabavimo sitnicama bez kojih se ne može. To su u prvom redu cijevi kojima ćete spajati pojedine elemente sustava, a može se pojaviti i potreba za obujmicama (shelnama), reduktorima promjera cijevi, T i Y nastavcima i sl. Ne zaboravite nabaviti i destiliranu vodu kojom ćete napuniti sustav. Cijevi je moguće nabaviti na više mjesta (Pevec, Bauhaus...). Razlikujemo ih prvenstveno po namjeni, unutarnjem promjeru, zatim po debljini stjenke, kvaliteti materijala od kojih su napravljene i na kraju po boji. Po namjeni cijevi mogu biti za vodu i zrak. Cijevi za zrak ćete koristiti ukoliko u sustavu imate neki od elemenata s automatskim uvodnicama (brze spojke). U tom slučaju ostale karakteristike padaju u drugi plan jer je promjer koji morate koristiti fiksan, a i boja cijevi je obično tamno plava zbog standarda u industriji gdje se takve cijevi koriste. Te cijevi najbolje je kupititi prilikom nabave bloka ili hlađenja jer ćete ih teško pronaći u nespecijaliziranim dućanima. Ukoliko u sustavu nemate elemenata s automatskim uvodnicama, izbor će vam biti puno veći. Unutarnji promjer koji ćete koristiti će najvjerojatnije biti 8 i/ili 10 mm. Boju cijevi odaberite prema vlastitom nahođenju, ali računajte na to da će se na cijevima s vremenom napraviti talog koji može narušiti izgled sustava... Debljina stjenke u sprezi s kvalitetom materijala je bitna prilikom ugradnje sustava u skučenom prostoru kako bi izbjegli prelamanje cijevi. Ukoliko se cijev prelomi zbog toga jer ste je savinuli vise nego što smijete, doći će do prekida protoka vode, što u konačnici može rezultirati i pregrijavanjem procesora i njegovim uništenjem. U takvoj situaciji smo se i mi našli prilikom testiranja - zbog prevelike dužine cijev se prelomila te je protok vode stao, srećom bez posljedica (temperatura procesora je porasla na 60C). Taj događaj je pokazao robusnost vodenog hlađenje - u slučaju prekida protoka vode imate dovoljno vremena da ugasite računalo, a ukoliko to propustite napraviti još uvijek postoji šansa da ćete se izvući bez posljedica. Iskustvo s nekoliko vrsta i promjera cijevi pokazuje da je lakše prelomiti cijev manjeg promjera kao i manje debljine stjenke.

Cijevi za vodu

Ukoliko ne koristite automatske uvodnice, uz cijevi će vam trebati i obujmice kojima ćete osigurati da spojevi cijevi i bloka, radijatora ili pumpe ne propuštaju vodu. Ukoliko priključci za vodu imaju zupčaste nabore uz upotrebu cijevi optimalnog promjera nećete morati koristiti obujmice. Optimalni promjer je onaj pri kojem ćete cijev jedva navući na priključak, to jest veći od unutarnjeg promjera cijevi.

Obujmica ima različitih, a većina će dobro obaviti posao. Obujmice loše kvalitete ćete prepoznati prilikom zatezanja – ukoliko vam prokliže tj. preskoči vijak za zatezanje, to je znak da ste obujmice pretegnuli i da će vjerojatno puštati vodu.

Obujmice

Ukoliko trebate spojiti dvije cijevi to možete napraviti na nekoliko načina: najjednostavniji je da jednu cijev gurnete u drugu i u slučaju da promjeri odgovaraju (vanjski promjer uže cijevi mora biti malo veći od unutarnjeg promjera šire cijevi) takav spoj može vrlo dobro držati vodu. Ovakvo rješenje nije za dugoročnu upotrebu, ali nas je odlično služilo za vrijeme testiranja. Puno bolje rješenje je da nabavite originalne spojke u obliku I nastavaka.

Primjer spajanja cijevi

Osim cijevi i obujmice može vam zatrebati i pokoji T ili Y nastavak, ukoliko npr. želite napraviti paralelnu granu za hlađenje GPU ili chipseta, ili za punjenje sustava kao što smo mi napravili. Dok god spajate cijevi istog promjera nećete imati problema u nabavci takvog nastavka (Pevec, Bauhaus...). U slučaju kakav smo sami morali riješiti - spajanje izvoda Ehaim pumpe predviđenih za spajanje cijevi promjera 12-16mm s blokom i radijatorom koji imaju izvode predviđene za spajanje cijevi promjera 8mm - pojavila se potreba za reduktorom promjera. Nakon višetjedne bezuspješne potrage problem smo riješili intervencijom kod jednog od proizvođača blokova koja je rezultirala s dva istokarena reduktora promjera. Naknadno smo načuli da se reduktori promjera mogu nabaviti kod specijaliziranih trgovaca koji obično nemaju dućan s maloprodajom, već ih je potrebno kontaktirati direktno.
