Termalne paste

 

Onima koji to još ne znaju moramo najprije objasniti čemu služe termalne paste i zašto je bitno koristiti iste. Površina hladnjaka, bila ona aluminijska ili bakrena nije savršena, odnosno postoje mikroskopske nepravilnosti (kod lošijih hladnjaka su ponekad i okom vidljive). Te nepravilnosti onemogućuju pravilan prijenos topline sa jezgre procesora na hladnjak i tu nam u pomoć dolaze paste, koje popunjavaju praznine i omogućuju pravilnan prijenos. Naravno postoje lošije i bolje paste - najčešće koristimo silikonsku pastu koja svoj posao obavlja korektno, što je dovoljno prosječnom korisniku. Za sve nas koji želimo izvući dodatni megahertz iz procesora to u pravilu nije riješenje. Tu na scenu stupaju posebne paste, od kojih smo mi testirali ponajbolje, odnosno one Nanothermove. Od dobre paste se očekuje da zadovolji nekoliko kriterija. Prvi je da omogući što bolji kontakt između jezgre i hladnjaka, drugi bitan kriterij je da ne provodi električnu energiju i treći da svoj posao obavlja što je duže moguće, odnosno da s vremenom ne gubi svoja termalna svojstva (što je najveća mana silikonskih pasta). Bitan faktor je svakako i pravilno nanošenje paste. Tu treba paziti da sloj paste nije predebel, i u pravilu treba biti što je moguće tanji, ali u onoj količini koja je dovoljna da prekrije čitavu jezgru procesora (u našem slučaju Athlona).

 

Nanotherm BLUE II

 

 

Nanotherm Blue II je jedinstvena nano kompozitna multi kreramička termalna pasta koja sadrži specijalnu smjesu proizvedenih materijala. Tako su korišteni borov nitrid, aluminijski oksid, aluminijski nitrid i ostali nano prašci smješani u multisintetiču tekućinu. Blue II dolazi upakiran u količini od 2 grama upakiranih u špricu, što olakšava nanošenje na jezgru procesora. Krase ga visoka termalna provodljivost, mali termalni otpor, ne provodi električnu energiju, nije opasan po zdravlje, vrlo lako se nanosi na procesor (lako je odrediti debljinu sloja), otporan je na visoke pritiske, ne suši se brzo (kao silikon) i zadnje ali ne manje bitno da ga je vrlo lako ukloniti sa procesora i hladnjaka.

 

Nanotherm SILVER XTC

 

Silver XTC je potpuno drugačija pasta od prethodno opisane i ona cilja isključivo visoke performanse u provođenju topilne. Njen glavni sastojak su mikronizirane srebrne čestice koje pomažu u što boljem prijenosu topline. Podmikronske i mikronske srebrne čestice imaju čistoću od 99.98%, i specijalno su izrađene po specifikacijama Nanotherma. Količina tih srebrnih čestica je 80-83% po jedinici težine, a također su tu prisutni i ostali nanoprašci korišteni i u Blue II pasti. XTC je otporan na viskoke temperature ( do 260°C) i ono što je najzanimljivije (s obzirom na visok postotak srebrnih čestica), ne provodi električnu energiju. Vrlo bitno za napomenuti je da je uklanjanje ove paste vrlo jednostavno i zahtijeva samo paprinatu maramicu za razliku od nekih srebrnih pasta koje ako se slučajno razmažu po površini procesora jako teško uklanjaju. Pasta je pakirana u šprici u količinu od 4 grama.

 

 

Nanotherm PCM+

 

Ovo je jedan vrlo ne tipičan proizvod jer to zapravo nije pasta. PCM+ je tekućina koja ima jedinstven način nanošenja i dolazi u maloj bočici volumena 2 ml. Dok paste nanosimo samo na procesor, PCM+ je potrebno nanjieti i na površinu hladnjaka. Jednom kada je nanešen PCM se razlije po površini i popuni sve mikroskopske praznine i nepravilnosti, nakon toga slijedi zanimljiva preobrazba iz tekućine u vrlo tanku polukrutu pastu (nalik na vosak). U pakiranju sa pastom dobivate jedan gumeni naprstak (nevjerovatno sličan kondomu) koji vam pomaže u pravilnom raspoređivanju PCM-a po površini. Također dobivate i papirnatu maramicu natopljenu alkoholom kojom prethodno očistite površine hladnjaka i procesora. PCM je posebno razvijen i zapravo je namijenjen vodenim sistemima hlađenja, a prije mehaničkog spajanja dvaju površina preporuča se da malo odstoji (barem pola sata).
