- Ugradnja i zaključak -

Sustav ugrađen na matičnu ploču

Ugradnja u računalo se od ugradnje bilo kojeg zračnog hladnjaka razlikuje tek po nekoliko sitnica. Kao što je uobičajeno kod montaže kada koristimo rupe oko podnožja, prvo je potrebno iz kućišta računala izvaditi matičnu ploču. Prije ugradnje je na blok za procesor potrebno montirati odgovarajući okvir koji ćemo vijcima pričvrstiti na rupe oko podnožja procesora. Zatim na okvir postavimo dvostruke vijke (koji imaju suprotan navoj što nije navedeno u priručniku) i gumene podloške, apliciramo termalnu pastu i cijelu konstrukciju postavimo na procesor. Sa donje strane matične ploče postavimo zaštitnu pločicu koja pojačava konstrukciju i sprečava svijanje matične ploče ili plastične podloške ukoliko se radi o LGA775 procesoru. Na kraju na vijke navijemo matice i to je to. Od alata je priložen adapter koji će bilo koji križni odvijač pretvoriti u ključ za matice. Kako komplet za svoj rad zahtjeva dva izvora napajanja (pumpa i ventilator), prije puštanja u pogon ih oba moramo spojiti i to po želji na matičnu ploču ili Molex konektor napajanja (adapter za izbor konektora je priložen). Potom slijedi ugradnja matične ploče sa hladnjakom u kućište i ugradnja radijatora sa ventilatorom na mjesto za ugradnju ventilatora u kućištu. Zadnji korak podrazumijeva ugradnju potenciometra za regulaciju brzine vrtnje ventilatora za što koristimo pločicu koju montiramo u utor za dodatne kartice na kućištu. Najveću zamjerku upućujemo šturim uputama koje mogu biti vrlo zbunjujuće za početnike. Također, kako komplet montiran na LGA775 procesor ne koristi pločicu sa donje strane ploče koja učvršćuje konstrukciju, matična ploča se svija pod pritiskom. Ova pojava nam se nikako ne sviđa, a može biti i uzrok nepravilnog nalijeganja hladnjaka na procesor, što će pak prouzročiti slabije performanse hlađenja. Overclockeri na Intel platformi sa pasivnim hlađenjem chipseta koji radi na povišenom naponu će se suočiti sa još jednim problemom - kako na procesoru više nema ventilatora koji bi usput malo hladio i sam chipset, isti će se pregrijavati, te će morati dodati ventilator za njegovo hlađenje.

Iako pozamašnih dimenzija i težine, sustav je dobro fiksiran na ploču i nema opasnosti od pomicanja

U radu se komplet ponašao prema očekivanjima - ukoliko smo ventilator postavili na najviši broj okretaja temperature pod opterećenjem su bile niže nego kada smo koristili zračni hladnjak koji je došao sa procesorom, no buka koju se sustav proizvodio u radu je bila vrlo visoka. Smanjivanjem brzine vrtnje ventilatora na površinu su isplivali nedostaci u dizajnu kompleta - radijator ovih dimenzija jednostavno nema dovoljno veliku površinu putem koje bi efikasno otpuštao toplinu i temperatura je čak i viša nego kod stock hladnjaka! Izmjerene temperature su za isti takt redovno 6-7°C više na manjoj brzini vrtnje ventilatora. Na to treba dodati i činjenicu da je i sam radijator na dodir osjetno topliji što bi se sigurno odrazilo i na temperaturu unutar kućišta da je komplet za vrijeme testa bio ugrađen u računalo. Vjerujemo da bi upotreba većeg radijatora kakav je u modelu R120 riješila većinu problema. Ocjenu za ovaj komplet je vrlo teško dati - dok je ugradnja najlakša od svih vodenih hlađenja koja smo do sada testirali, efikasnost hlađenja ovog modela nije posebno bolja od stock coolera koji smo dobili sa procesorom i kada uzmemo u obzir buku koju proizvodi u radu ne vidimo zašto uložiti dodatna sredstva. Komplet ne nudi nikakve dodatne mogućnosti (nadzor temperature i slično), no obzirom na nisku očekivanu cijenu to mu ne uzimamo za zlo.

Pozitivno + Kompaktan dizajn, iznimno lagana montaža i kvalitetna izrada. OK cijena. Cool. Podržava sve sockete.
Negativno - Premali radijator koji rezultira slabom efikasnosti sustava. Ventilator na najvećem broju okretaja proizvodi preveliku buku, moguće povećano zagrijavanje unutrašnjosti kućišta zbog zagrijavanja radijatora. Na nižim okretajima lošije od stock coolera.
