AMD u svojim specifikacijama tvrdi da su sljedeće radne temperature prihvatljive s obzirom na zračenje procesora (koje je vezano uz takt):

°C/W? Što je to?

To znači da za svaki watt koji procesor zrači, temperatura procesora povećat će se za dati °C/W. Dakle, što niži °C/W hladnjaka - to bolje. Formula onda na kraju izgleda CPU Toplina (W) x °C/W + Temp kućišta (°C). AMD smatra da je prihvatljiva temperatura u kućištu 45°C što je po nama puno previše. Temperatura u kućištu ne bi trebala biti viša od 30°C, što je 2/3 od onog što AMD smatra prihvatljivim. Ista tablica bi po nama trebala izgledati ovako:

To je već bolje! Sad su se temperature približile 50°C. Naše iskustvo nas uči da bi temperatura procesora trebala biti ispod 50°C, a idealno bi bilo da nije viša od 45-46°C. No, ako Vam sve radi 100% stabilno onda se koji dodatni stupanj može oprostiti.

Kao primjere raspona temperatura možemo navesti osobni sistem pisca ovih redova te sistem našeg prijatelja Damira Šimpovića.

Osobni sistem (Thunderbird 1GHz overclockan na 1333MHz - 9.5x140 na 1.775V):

  • Temperatura kućišta: maks. 27°C
  • CPU temperatura pod punim opterećenjem (Prime95, nakon 2 sata): 46°C
  • Hlađenje: Alpha PAL6035 + Delta 38cfm ventilator, Arctic Silver pasta

Damir #1 (Thunderbird 800MHz oc 900MHz na 1.75V)

  • Temp. otvorenog kućišta: 22°C
  • CPU temp.: 46°C
  • Hlađenje: Titan Majesty, Arctic Silver pasta

Damir #2 (Thunderbird 800MHz oc 950MHz na 1.75V):

  • Temp. otvorenog kućišta: 22°C
  • CPU temp.: 43°C
  • Hlađenje: modificirana Alpha P125 + 2x YSTech 27.2cfm ventilatori, Arctic Silver pasta.

Iz ova tri primjera lijepo vidimo velik raspon temperatura te razliku u procesorima. Treba napomenuti da su Duroni još gori za hlađenje zbog manje površine jezgre kojom dodiruju hladilo. Drugim riječima, Durone ćete još teže kvalitetno ohladiti jer je toplina koncentrirana na manjem prostoru. I to je to! Nadamo se da ćete sada i sami moći odrediti koja je optimalna temperatura Vašeg procesora. I ne zaboravite - ako je sve 100% stabilno, onda je sve u redu pa makar se temperatura činila visokom.
