I tako smo došli do dijela testa gdje ćemo vidjeti što može napraviti PixelViewov 6600 GT spram obične 6600 GT kartice. Dakle, ovdje ćemo usporediti razliku u performansama kod taktova 500/1000 MHz sa taktovima od 550/1120 MHz koji su tvornički za PixelViewovu grafičku karticu. Bez brige, nećete ostati bez overclockiranja, to smo odlučili ostaviti za sam kraj članka ili kako bi "švabe" rekli - Zucker kommt zu Letzt.

Kod nas je već tradicija da prvo započnemo sa sintetičkim testovima, pa niti ovoga puta nećemo raditi iznimke. Riječ je o 3DMark 2005 benchmark programu za koji imamo osjećaj da je kod nas već cijelu vječnost, no i to će se brzo promjeniti pošto je izašla nova verzija - 3D Mark 2006. Doduše, novi test je samo prerada starog tako da nekakvih spektakularnih razlika nema.

Ali da ne duljimo previše o 3Dmarku, idemo pogledat kako stoje brojke. Vidimo da je PixelView 6600 GT u prednosti od skoro 500 bodova, ali ovakav rezultat je i bio za očekivati pošto se kod sintetičkih testova najviše osjeti razlika u radnom taktu.

Razlog zašto ovaj test nije izvršen na X3 već smo rekli. No što je tu je, ostao nam je na raspolaganju stariji brat X2 Rolling. X2 je pisan za DirectX 8.1 API, no može dosta masti izvući iz kartica, pogotovo ako se testira sa uključenim algoritmima AA i AF. I ovdje vidimo da viši radni takt ima učinka te je PixelView 6600 GT u prednosti od skoro 4fps.

Došli smo do tećeg po redu testa, a riječ je o F.E.A.R-u, koji je usput rečeno najzahtjevniji naslov u našem arsenalu testnog softvera. S F.E.A.R.-om nije teško testirati pošto igra ima ugrađeni benchmark, te je dovoljno postaviti željene opcije(rezolucija,kvaliteta slike itd.) te pokrenuti test. Demo koji je u igri namjenjen za mjerenje performansi ne traje dugo, ali su rezultati poražavajući - samo 22 sličice u sekundi kod 1024x768 tj. 15 kod 1280x960 su jako niske brojke pogotovo ako znamo da nismo koristili dodatne algoritme koji poboljšavaju kvalitetu prikaza kao Anti-aliasing i Anisotopic filtering. Ovo su brojke PixelViewove kartice, a kod obične 6600 GT su još niže za 2 sličice u sekundi. Sve u svemu F.E.A.R je eventualno igriv na rezoluciji od 800x600, no i to je upitno.
