G.Skill RipjawsX F3-17000CL9D-4GB

Ripjawsi dolaze u klasičnom blister pakiranju, za razliku od nekih skupljih modela opremljenih dodatnim ventilatorima, koji dolaze u kartonskom pakovanju. Na pakiranju se jasno ističu moduli, kao i natpis za koje su platforme ovi kitovi namijenjeni - Z68 i P67 bazirane matične ploče. Na pozadini se nalaze dodatne informacije o G.Skillovom načinu ručnog testiranja svakog kita kako bi u dvokanalnom modu rada moduli u paketu radili besprijekorno zajedno. Nadalje tu su istaknute i specikacije memorije, odnosno deklarirane vrijednosti za koje proizvođač jamči da će raditi na svim podržanim pločama. Na kraju, G.Skill ističe kako sve svoje memorijske kitove pokriva doživotnim jamstvom.

G.Skill na testnim Ripjawsima koristi isprobanu formulu po pitanju dizajna heatspreadera. Konkretno, radi se o crvenim heatspreaderima u kombinaciji sa mat crnim PCB-om što čini vizualno privlačnu kombinaciju pogotovo ako imate ploču sličnih boja (najbolje se slaže uz recimo Asusove ploče iz ROG serije). Hladnjak je ukrašen G.Skillovim logotipom te naravno imenom - Ripjaws X. S druge se strane nalazi slična kombinacija ali je desnom kutu dodana i bijela naljepnica na kojoj se uz deklaracijske vrijednosti nalazi i G.Skillova hologramska naljepnica koja dokazuje kako se radi o njihovom originalnom proizvodu. Uz to, na njoj je naveden mjesec i godina proizvodnje. Testni Ripjaws kit je proizveden u devetom mjesecu ove godine. PCB od svakog zasebnog modula na sebi ima osam memorijskih čipova koji su deklarirani za rad na 2133MHz, pri sljedećim latencijama - 9-11-9-28, 2T. Radi se o kombinaciji visokog takta i nešto opuštenijih latencija. Testni Ripjawsi su dakako opremljeni i sa jednim X.M.P. memorijskim profilom koji jamči rad na deklariranim vrijednostima.

Uz osnovne specifikacije brzine i latencija, na deklaracijskoj se naljepnici nalazi i puna oznaka ovog modela, a to je - F3-17000CL9D-4GB. F3 označava kako se radi o DDR3 memoriji, 17000 označava estimacijsku propusnost, što dijeljenjem s osam rezultira pravom brzinom ove memorije - 2133MHz. CL9 označava prvu CL latenciju u setu ostalih. 4GB označava kako se radi o 4GB modelu, dok XL okvirno označava iz koje "obitelji" potječe. Recimo imamo modela koji također imaju prefix XL identičnih specifikacija, ali u 8GB izvedbi. Memorija je deklarirana za rad na 1.6V, što je maksimalna vrijednost ukoliko se ne diže napon memorijskog kontrolera sa tvorničkih 1.05V. Upravo tih 1.05V, u usporebi sa 1.1V prošle generacije utječe na veću ponudu memorijskih kitova deklariranih na 1.6V i manjem naponu, nego u slučaju do sada sa 1.65V. Kako smo spomenuli, G.Skill na svoje memorije daje doživotno jamstvo u Americi, dok se to u Europi odražava na 10 godina, odnosno na tri godine u Hrvatskoj.
