Conclusion in english

Mushkin eXtreme Performance XP2-6400 performed very good in our test, especially in terms of low latencies. Unfortunately, in combination with out test platform, Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and MSI K9N SLI Platinum, high clocks had a high price – memory voltage of 2,45 V. As we had an opportunity to test this memory with various Socket AM2 boards and with some boards we needed much lower voltage for similar results, we are left with a feeling that Mushkin XP2-6400 would have performed much better if our test system was based on one of Intel chipsets, which are known for their quality and stability. This "feeling" is further amplified by other reviews of Mushkin’s XP2-6400 memory which can be found all over Internet. In the majority of these reviews where test platform was Intel i975X chipset, XP2-6400 managed to score well above 1000 MHz without using "big" voltages.

Sadly, we couldn’t find Mushkin XP-6400 in croatian computer shops. According to Newegg, price of one 512 MB XP2-6400 stick is about 85 USD while Corsair memory with similar specifications, CMX512-6400C4, has a price tag of 94 USD. OCZ memory with similar performance is cheapest with price of about 75 USD. Altough users who are buying high-end memory don’t usualy complain over their high prices, in the end we are all striving to pay less money for things we are planning to buy. In comparison to other high-end products on the market, Mushkin offers fairly competitive price.
