Došlo je vrijeme da se oprostimo od Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe matične ploče. Druženje s njom bilo je vrlo dobro, a ploča se pokazala kao vrhunski overclocker, ako se ne varamo, oborila je čak naš interni rekord što se tiče takta FSB-a na Socket AM2 pločama. Ovo treba zahvaliti moćnom BIOS-u koju nudi izuzetno velik broja opcija, ali i prilično visoke napone na komponentama. Overclockanje s ovom pločom bilo je ugodno iskustvo iz još jednog razloga – C.P.R. tehnologije koja je resetirala postavke BIOS-a na tvorničke vrijednosti kad god je to bilo potrebno odnosno kad bi smo pretjerali s overclockanjem. Bundle i oprema koji dolaze s ovom pločom su zaista vrhunski, kao što je uvijek bio slučaj kod Asusovih ploča koje u svojem imenu nose dodatak Deluxe. Nama se posebno svidio usmjereni mikrofon s kojim će mnogi korisnici izbjeći kupovinu headseta, ali i Q-Connector – odlično rješenje za sve nas koji mrzimo spajati kabele iz kućišta na matičnu ploču.

Dakako, ova ploča ima i svojih mana. Prva stvar koja nam se nije dopala je layout. Najviše nas je zasmetala nemogućnost korištenja prvog i drugog SATA priključka ako se u drugom PCI-E x16 utoru nalazi grafička kartica većih dimenzija. Loš layout po nama proizlazi zbog načina na koji je Asus odlučio hladiti nForce 590 SLI čipset. Tehnologija toplovodnih cijevi u ovom slučaju zauzima previše mjesta na ploči, no to je cijena bešumnog hlađenje. Još jedna mana su nepostojanje start i reset tipki direktno na matičnoj ploči, a ista je stvar i s LED dijagnostikom. Spomenuti featurei koja su se pokazali vrlo korisnim ljudima kao što smo mi koji svako malo mijenjaju određeni komad hardvera ili postavke u BIOS-u. Smatramo da bi barem jedno od navedenog trebala imati ploča koja je primarno namijenjena entuzijastima.

Cijena Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe kreće se oko 1600 Kn što nije malo, no svojim oveclockerskim potencijalom i bogatom opremom ova ploča svoju cijenu u potpunosti opravdava.

Time has come to say farewell to Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. We really enjoyed time spent with this board. It showed itself as an excellent overclocker and if we are not mistaken, this board even managed to break our internal record regarding FSB overclocking on Socket AM2 motheboards. Main reason for such good overclocking results is feature packed BIOS which offers loads of tweaking options and pretty high voltages. Overclocking with this board was a good experience because of one more reason – C.P.R. technology which reseted clock values to their defaults every single time we pushed them to high. Bundle and equipment of M2N32-SLI Deluxe are superb and to be honest, we didn’t expect no less from Asus motheboards which has word "Deluxe" in its name. We especially liked focused microphone which will allow many users to avoid buying a headset for gaming. Of course, there is also Q-Connector – tiny adapter which is a life saver for all people who hate connecting case cables to motherboard.

On the other hand, as every other product, this board has its deficiencies. First thing we didn’t like is layout. SATA connectors are positioned in such way that by installing big GFX card in second PCI-E slot, users looses ability to use first two SATA connectors. Main reason for bad positioning of components is massive heatpipe chipset cooling system which eats up to much place on PCB. On the other, that is the price of noiseless chipset cooling. Second problem is absence of reset and power buttons directly on motheboard, as well as absence of LCD diagnostics system. Such things are very usefull to people who exchange components in ther computer very often or make frequent modifications of BIOS settings. We believe that a motheboard which is specifically aimed at enthusiast should have at least one of those features.

Price of Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard in croatian stores is about 1.600 kn which is a tad too high, but with its excellent overclocking potential and equipment, this board manages to justify such high price.
